Somewhat different than the familiar single night-formula, NIGHT SHIFT offers a platform for upcoming talent during GHENT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL (-GIF). Every last Thursday of the month LARF!’s Knal_Interval provides the stage of De Kazematten for work in progress by young makers. This edition is curated by Night Shift and collects presentations by various artistic organisations in Ghent who work with children and youngsters. Sharing this fragile and experimental work with a broader festival audience and each other aims to generate an atmosphere of accessibility and unexpected encounters. With Mais Quelle Chanson, SKI (Stedelijk Secundair Kunstinstituut), LARF! and Kopergietery Atelierwerking.
