Together with their mentors the young folks at Kopergietery worked around the concept of the self portrait (Het zelfportret) during this year’s ateliers. We live in a digital culture in which we share many pictures, but what do we make visible of ourselves? What does the ideal portrait look like? What do we hide from them? What did they look like in history? And what if you only get one chance to make thé portrait of your life?
