Floris Hoorelbeke is as unpredictable as the outcome of a KV Oostende football game. One time he seems to be constructing something with rocks, sea water, cables, the other time he puts 91 lines next to each other until they form a geometric figure, which he then fuses with blurry excesses and sometimes a photograph into a psychedelic whole, for which the word collage is inadequate. His works, which are increasingly colourful, bear titles such as Hand Cream, Slime, Number So Much and Yellow Teeth.
