Laura Vanborm is a Belgian choreographer and dancer who has been working with a.o. Miet Warlop and Jan Martens over the years. Being confined to her own home during the lockdown, being unable to rehearse or perform on stage, she has been investigating the creative possibilities of her mandatory small habitat. Starting from certain patterns, both in form (walls, lines) and thought, she was looking to translate them into bodily sculptures. Images she captured on video and that were manipulated afterwards. Her main inspiration were photographers like Ben Zank, Annelie Vandendael and Brooke Didonato. This could be the starting point of new collaborations and lead to no a new series of images or possibly a solo-performance.
