Get to know Max better
Mistral (2017)
Graduated in photography and film directing, Max Meyer previously produced an audio-visual letter from Brussels to the Italian village of Topolò. Bruxelles, Topolò (2017) has opened another collaboration with Sander Moysen, who studied Sociology and agreed to work with Meyer again for Mistral. Their first fiction film portrays the lives of two lovers: he’s working in a tire shop, she’s active on a nearby farm. The camera follows their attraction and rejection as it unwinds as a difficult, wordless love and mutual desire. Just like the wind blows and howls, the longing unfolds a story of passion, love and forgiveness.
