At the invitation of Het TheaterFestival, we are showing a film Night Shift: Beach Special by Julie Daems created as part of Night Shift Ostend. This summer about thirty diverse creators resided and presented side by side on the coast for a month. This exercise in sharing time, space and resources, Julie tries to capture and continue with her film. After the film, Simon Baetens will introduce his text Sharing is caring, which originated as the end point of the research project “sharing time, land and resources” as part of Kaaitheater’s project How to Live and Work Now. The film and text set the stage for an open conversation about sharing and collective plurality in the arts. With that conversation comes breakfast, of course, because without coffee and croissants no BREAKFASTCLUB
