UNDIRECTED BODIES
Installation Art student Aïsha Gailliaert focusses on the constant renewal of the body, a renewal that passes unnoticed by its inhabitant. This constant inner change – consisting of loose elements – consolidates in a seemingly solid model. Gailliaert seeks to build a body freed from its DNA-code. In her performance she reflects on the absence of such borders, resulting in a body that grows into an amorphous proliferation.
