Think of it as a place on the ether where everything regardless their content can be broadcasted 24/7, as an inclusive radio station where hierarchy is totally absent and decentralisation is key, as an uncontrolled medium searching for its boundaries and sociological meanings.

Derived from its Russian ancestors (e.g. Dziga Vertov’s Radio-Ear / Radio-Pravda) and Orson Welles’s War of the Worlds, Radio Roeien Met Riemen does what is does best: extending sounds, minds and ideas from its creators. As it is an artistic research project, the radio station is also experimenting with visual artistic relevance in radio and upgrading live broadcasting and radio as an influencing, meaningful artistic medium.
