Malmzeit is one of the world’s rare bourgeois heavy metal duos, founded in 2003 in Stuttgart, Germany. Earl Grey (throat/bass) and Sumatra Bop (guitar/beats) play their brutal trash/death metal only seated, neatly dressed, while drinking a fine choice of organic tea. Their lyrics cover only the one most important issue of all time: the weather. The duo refuses to produce records and, thus paying heed to the noble tradition of chamber music, exclusively plays live – preferably in the most obscure places.
