Located at the staff entrance hall of the Ghent Opera building, REST will soon serve as a public hideout amidst the city. A made-to-measure installation by Decoratelier outlines the area and invites you to have a seat, a chat or a view from different angles. This scenography, a brave relic of the canceled Night Shift event, now transfers the space to the public domain. In times of social isolation, REST aims to offer shelter and ways of safe encounter. As soon as measurements get more relaxed, it will belong to everyone and can, in addition, serve as a platform for presentation, education and everything else in between.
